About our Bed & Breakfast
Have you ever wanted to sleep in a candy store? Here's your chance. Our modern Victorian Style home is part of the Historic Irvine General Store. This 100 year old building offers modern amenities with old fashion charm, complete with original tin ceilings and wood floors. And an "Old Fashion" candy counter with dozens of candies to choose from.
We are only minutes from the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, a year round facility that offers hiking, boating, swimming in the summer. And cross country and downhill skiing in the winter. We are also about 45 minutes from the Fort Walsh.
We offer weekly rates and have a full serve restaurant and convenience store in the building. The Hamlet of Irvine has a public library, sports complex, and the Prairie Memories Museum.
On the first weekend in September you can take part in the annual 20 Mile Post Days with a Gymkana, Rodeo, Car Show and Parade.
Our little community also has a Canada Post Office, Automotive Repair Shop and small Hotel and Bar.
Irvine is a short 20 minute drive east of Medicine Hat on the Trans Canada Hwy. Medicine Hat is a city of 80,000 and offers shopping, sight seeing, the Worlds Tallest Teepee, Art Gallery, Museum and much, much more.
Step back in time to a more relaxed enviroment and enjoy a break with us.
